Get Involved

run-for-it1Do you need a reason to exercise?  Do you already exercise but would like to help someone else?  If you live or work in East London and you’d like to get involved with the Good Gym, then please do get in touch.

Joining the Good Gym is really easy; to try it out for yourself, we’d love you to come for a run with us, during which we can explain how it all works and introduce you to some other Good Gym runners.

To come along to the next group run, please sign up to get using the form below (or by emailing mark@thegoodgym.org), and we’ll send you details about when & where to join us. Signing up doesn’t lock you in to any kind of long-term commitment (and obviously we also won’t share your data with anyone else either.)

If you have any more questions about how it all works, check out the Runners FAQ.

Part of the solution has to be to take a holistic and strategic look at an ageing society. For example, Can we find innovative ways of paying for preventative healthcare? Can we incentivise people to stay active for longer? Can we deliver more and better jobs for those close to (and beyond) the State Pension Age? Or could we offer a flexible state pension where individuals could choose to draw down a smaller state pension earlier in retirement in return for a more generous one later on?.
